Nothing gets printed that you have not seen
Most photo-gift sites show you a stock mockup and hope. We render the actual artwork, check whether your photos can survive being printed three feet wide, and put a person between your order and the press.
Pick a design
Twelve layouts, each built around what people actually have: four decent photos, one great photo, a name, or a note in someone's handwriting. Start from the recipient rather than the fabric.
Choose material and size
Velveteen holds photographic detail best. Sherpa is the heavy one people sleep under. Woven cotton is the heirloom, and it deliberately softens fine detail, which is why we point names at it and photo collages away from it. The preview updates the instant you switch, so you can see the trade rather than read about it.
Add your photos
Drag them in or pull them straight from your phone. Crop, zoom, rotate, and drag to reposition inside the frame. For pets and handwriting there is a one-tap background removal. Everything lands inside the real design immediately, not in a separate thumbnail strip.
We check the resolution honestly
For every photo we work out how many of its pixels actually land across the printed area at the size you chose, and turn that into a real dpi figure. Slightly soft gets a warning. Genuinely unprintable is blocked until you fix it. This is the single biggest cause of disappointing photo gifts and it is entirely preventable.
Add your words
Names, dates, and a message, with sensible character limits per design and a short list of typefaces that have been tested at that size on that material. Text resizes itself to stay readable rather than overflowing. What you type is what prints, punctuation and capitals included.
Review and approve
A larger preview and four confirmations: spelling, photo placement, colour expectations, and approval for production. Nothing reaches the cart until all four are ticked. It takes ten seconds and prevents the mistakes that cannot be undone.
We render the real print file
Not a screenshot of your preview. The same code that drew the preview re-runs at press resolution against the print partner's exact dimensions, full bleed, sRGB, with the editor furniture switched off and your design reference baked into the filename.
A person looks at it
Automated checks run first: blank fields, low-resolution photos, faces sitting too close to the trim, text collisions, leftover placeholder copy, accidental repeats. Then a human looks at the artwork. If something is wrong we email you before printing rather than shipping a blanket nobody wants.
Production and delivery
Three to five business days to print and finish, three to five in transit. Text-only designs skip the manual review and usually arrive sooner. You get tracking the moment it leaves.
Why we cap the choices
You can pick from a handful of typefaces and a handful of colours per design, not from a thousand. Unlimited freedom on a personalization tool reliably produces blankets people regret, and every one of those becomes a refund, a reprint, and a bad review. Constraints here are a feature: they are the reason the finished thing looks composed.
