Your Photos

What we do with them

Your photos are used to produce your blanket and for nothing else. They are shared only with the print partner that manufactures your specific order.

While you are designing, your photos stay in your own browser and are not uploaded anywhere until you place an order.

What we never do

We do not sell your photos, licence them, or pass them to advertisers or data brokers.

We do not use them to train machine-learning models of any kind, ours or anyone else's.

We do not use them in our own marketing, on our site, or on social media unless you tell us in writing that we may.

How long we keep them

Order photos are deleted 90 days after your order ships. We keep the low-resolution preview thumbnail attached to your order record for reprint claims, and delete that after two years.

You can ask us to delete everything sooner by emailing hello@blanketized.com from the address on the order. We action deletion requests within 30 days.

Rights and permission

By uploading a photo you confirm you have the right to reproduce it. That matters most for professional portraits, school photographs, and wedding photography, which are usually owned by the photographer rather than the subject.

If a rights holder contacts us about an image, we will stop production and refund the order.
