Personalized Orders
What you are approving when you click approve, and where responsibility sits on each side of that line.

You approve the exact artwork
Before a personalized blanket can be added to your cart you confirm four things: that you checked the spelling of every name and message, that you reviewed the placement and cropping of every photo, that you understand screen and printed colours vary slightly, and that you approve the design for production.
The preview you approve is generated by the same code that generates the print file. It is not an artist's impression. Layout, cropping, typeface, and text are what will be printed.
Spelling is yours, everything else is ours
We print exactly what you type, including capitalisation and punctuation. We do not silently correct spelling, because on a memorial or a baby blanket an autocorrect is worse than a typo.
If a name is misspelled on the blanket, it was misspelled in the design you approved, and a replacement would be a new order at full price. If the delivered blanket differs from what you approved in any other way, that is on us and we remake it free.
We check before we print
Every personalized order is held after payment and reviewed before it is released to production. We run automated checks for blank fields, low-resolution photos, faces sitting too close to the trim edge, colliding text, and leftover placeholder copy. A person then looks at the artwork.
If something looks accidental rather than intentional, we email you and wait. We would rather delay your order by a day than print something you did not mean.
Simple text-only designs with a clean automated pass may be released without a manual review. Photo collages, cutouts, handwriting, and memorial designs are always reviewed by a person.
Changes and cancellations
You can change or cancel a personalized order within 12 hours of placing it, provided it has not already entered production. Email hello@blanketized.com with your order number.
Once the print file is with the mill we usually cannot stop it, because production on these begins with cutting fabric to your specific design.
What we cannot print
Images you do not have the right to reproduce, including copyrighted characters, brand logos, and professional photographs you did not license. Approving a design confirms you hold the necessary rights.
Content that is hateful, sexually explicit, or that appears to target a private individual. We refund these in full rather than print them.
